Visiting Scholars and Researchers
UNMC’s Asia Pacific Rim Development Program has made it simpler for Chinese scholars that have received their PhD or MD to work with a researcher in the US.
These visiting scholars and researchers team up with researches at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in order to collaborate on studies and investigation on a multitude of subjects. The Postdoctoral Scholars are newly graduated MD and/or PhD scientists that perform one to three years of research projects with a principal investigator at UNMC while Visiting Scholars are any other MD or PhD holders that perform one or two years of research projects.
UNMC’s Postdoctoral and Visiting Scholars will look through UNMC’s catalogue of principal investigators to find an investigator whose projects match their own research interests. UNMC presents visiting scholars with principal investigators who are particularly interested in working with recipients of scholarships presented by the CSC.
